Student Recruitment Support Officer – Vietnam

Main Responsibilities

The Student Recruitment Support Officer will be responsible for working with the Director of Sale Operations, to support our international sales strategy and driving student conversion from a given region. They will work closely with a range of different stakeholders including Sales teams, colleagues from our centres, and admissions team. This role is responsible for driving in-region student conversion activity, but may be asked to support on other projects, including support at sales events, administrative work, and other projects supporting the student experience and sales operations.

Key Tasks

  • To support the meeting of sales targets across the business, supporting our Sales Team, working with students directly to meet conditions, pay course deposits, book interview and generally take the next step in the process.
  • Speak with students directly to understand any barrier to their study, and resolve them
  • To help students understand the next step in their journey and action them to take those steps (document submission, deposit paying, interview booking, etc)
  • To build relationships with partners and sponsors where appropriate to help them convert the students sent to us.
  • To lead on developing and building relationships with regional recruitment staff and our network of agents.
  • Create and update records on student recruitment information
  • Provide reporting and data analysis on regional performance
  • Collaborate and coordinate across with teams regarding product knowledge and training
  • Work cooperatively and supportively with stakeholders to ensure good channels of communication and exchange of relevant data.
  • To provide excellent customer service to our stakeholders and students
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to customer service at all levels within the organisation.
  • To have experience of successfully growing recruitment results from key recruitment regions.
  • To proactively support group planning, training team development activities and initiatives.
  • Participate in group training and team building activities.
  • Participate in group planning and product development initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-network sales and marketing initiatives.
  • To undertake any other duties as given by their line manager

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • High level of English ability, Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • 2+ years experience in HE in an international setting
  • Educated to degree level
  • Proven track record of achieving outstanding performance.
  • Proven track record in delivering against recruitment targets in the international education sphere.
  • Knowledge of UK focussed and international student recruitment networks and strategies.
  • Excellent understanding of the UK education system.
  • Experience in student conversion, including agents and direct recruitment.
  • Experience of producing sales reports and updating records
  • An ability to analyse and conceptualise with strong communication skills and a passion for education and training.
  • IT proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
