The path to an impactful customised academic programme

At Malvern International, we believe that collaboration is the cornerstone of impactful programmes. As each Customised Academic Programme is tailored to fit your department or institution’s needs, the process will differ slightly in every case.

Our team will provide personalised service both before and during your study abroad programme. Here’s how we partner with Universities and International Institutions to create your vision:

Malvern Programme Request Form (6-18 months)

Prospective partners complete the Malvern Programme Request Form, detailing their vision for the programme including programme location, dates and academic goals and ideas of activities, field trips and experiential learning opportunities. Our expert team will review your submission and arrange an initial consultation meeting.

Programme collaboration (3-18 months)

We will work closely with academic staff or international offices to identify specific programme needs. A comprehensive proposal is then provided, outlining programme components, fees, application deadlines, and policies to ensure transparency on what is included in the programme fee. You will then work closely with your dedicated Malvern Programme Manager to refine the proposal and itinerary, ensuring alignment with your objectives and budget.

Programme logistics (3-6 months)

The Programme Manager will finalise programme logistics, from booking classroom space, accommodation, cultural activities, trips and guest lecturers that enrich the student’s international journey in collaboration with the partner University and/or faculty. The home institution maintains academic oversight of students, setting admission criteria and selects and enrols students.

Pre-departure (3 months)

The Partner University will submit the participant list, review the final itinerary, and share details about the Malvern pre-departure orientation and materials with students.

Programme start date

Upon arrival, Malvern staff will welcome your group at the airport followed by an onsite orientation, ensuring a smooth start to your Programme along with stringent checks of the classroom and accommodation arrangements. As part of arrival day, students and faculty will also receive a neighbourhood familiarisation tour to ensure awareness of local services and amenities.

Programme delivery

We will offer both logistical and pastoral support, allowing faculty to focus on delivering high-quality academic content. Our Programme Staff are responsible for the daily operation of each programme, ensuring that everything runs seamlessly along with 24/7 emergency response and support.

Absolutely! We work with you to ensure your programme reflects your vision. Whether you have a detailed itinerary in mind or need help crafting one, we collaborate with you to include elements such as guest speakers, industry site visits, and cultural excursions to create an impactful learning experience.

How long does it take to receive a customised programme proposal after submitting a request?

We typically deliver a detailed proposal within 1-3 weeks after the initial consultation. During this period, our team works closely with you to ensure the proposal is tailored to your requirements. A dedicated Programme Manager will confirm receipt of your request and guide you through the process.

Can the programme include language courses or cultural workshops?

Yes, we can incorporate additional elements like language courses, cultural workshops, or even short-term internships to enhance the experiential learning aspect of your programme. Let us know your requirements, and we’ll integrate them into the design.

Can the programme be designed to include multiple destinations?

Yes, we can create multi-destination programmes tailored to your academic focus. Our team will manage the logistics, ensuring smooth transitions between locations while maintaining a cohesive educational experience.

What if a student needs additional academic or personal support during the programme?

Our team is here to help. We provide access to academic resources, local tutors, and personal support services to ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed.

Can we arrange site visits or activities specific to our academic focus?

Yes, we specialise in arranging activities that align with your course objectives, such as visits to museums, research institutions, companies, or historical sites relevant to your subject matter.

Can Malvern provide post-programme feedback or assessments?

Yes, we can facilitate feedback surveys for students and faculty, providing insights to help refine future programmes. Additionally, we can offer certificates of participation or other documentation to acknowledge student achievement.
