A pathway programme helps bridge the gap between your current qualifications and university-level study. It provides the academic and language preparation you need to progress to your degree at Liverpool Hope University.

Our pathway programmes

Study a comprehensive programme leading to a range of degrees at Liverpool Hope University on one integrated visa for the entire duration of your degree. It will prepare you for studying at undergraduate level. You will gradually develop the skills needed for university study with classroom teaching that is interactive and supportive.

You will study core modules including English and tailor your learning by taking related streams for your chosen progression degree.

For entry into the first year of an undergraduate degree.

This programme is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. As part of the International Year One, you will study in university-style classes and learn with a combination of classroom teaching, small group tuition and personal tutorial sessions with lecture-style classes and you will progress to year two of your undergraduate degree.

This programme is designed to significantly improve your academic language skills, including critical thinking and academic writing, whilst allowing you the additional classroom support you need from our qualified teachers.

For entry into the second year of an undergraduate degree.
